Spread the Word: Tell your community to support its local first responders!

Thank you for telling your friends about the First Response Coalition’s important initiative to make September 25 National First Responder Appreciation Day.  With your help we are going to make this long-overdue day of recognition a reality.

Our goal is to present 25,000 signatures to Congress in support of celebrating the courageous men and women who risk their lives to protect our communities.  You’ve added your voice to this very important petition and asked some of your friends to support it.  Now we are asking you to download our Action Kit, so you can spread the word throughout your community.

The Action Kit includes a list of things you can do in your community to help make September 25 National First Responder Appreciation Day, and free materials which you can provide to your friends, neighbors, family members and local first responders.  Right-click on the links below and select “Save Link As..” to download the Action Kit.

PRINTABLE PETITION:  Circulate this petition among your friends, family, neighbors and neighborhood first responders.  Once completed, you can send the petition to the FRC, where we will add the names to the growing list of supporters for the National First Responder Appreciation DayRight-click here to download»

DOORHANGERS:  Take a walk through your community and leave these hanging on your neighbor’s doors.  Be sure to drop by your local fire, police or EMS station, too!  You can also show your support by hanging them on your door at work. Right-click here to download »
